We have an exciting opportunity available for a skilled Trade Assistant to join a thriving steel manufacturer in the heart of Western Sydney. Take on a great hands-on role offering a variety of work and job security.

WHATS ON OFFER:

- Dayshift 6am starts and weekly OT available at penalty rates
- Work on a great variety of custom steel & sheet metal products
- Stable role and upskilling provided in a supportive team
- Clean and well-organised workshop workplace
- Secure onsite parking available

THE ROLE:

- Assist with assembly and production duties in the workshop
- Assist with manufacturing custom sheet metal products
- General labouring, manual handling, and workshop duties as required
- Read and interpret drawings and perform quality checks
- Follow strict WH&S; requirements in the workshop

ABOUT YOU:

- Previous experience in a hands-on workshop/ assembly environment




- Experience using power tools and equipment safely
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Strong sense of safety and keen eye for detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team
