About the Position
Due to internal progression, an opportunity has opened up to join our established Xpress Team in the East Coast.

We are actively a seeking multi-skilled Shotfirer/MPU Operator to respond to a variety of situations and support both existing and new client challenges.

As part of our Xpress Team, you will have the prospect to provide a range of blasting services to support the day-to-day demands of unique operations.

About you





- Experience in operating MPUs and shotfiring operations in an open cut environment essential
- Demonstrated experience working in the drill & blast industry
- Unwavering commitment to safety and efficiency
- Ability to work well within a team and unsupervised
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Customer-focused approach
- Experience using both Non-Electric and Electronic Blasting Systems (highly regarded)

What you need

- Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence
- Current Open Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver Licence
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance (QESC) - or willing to obtain
- National Police Clearance (Less than 3 months old or willing to obtain)
- Current QLD Coal Board Medical (or willing to obtain)
- Standard 11
