We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join a busy industrial galvanizing plant. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable working in a rapid-paced, heavy industry environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and handling of steel products for the galvanizing process
- Loading and unloading materials onto racks and production lines
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of steel components
- Supporting the galvanizing process, including dipping, inspection, and finishing tasks
- General plant housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Following safety procedures and working effectively within a team
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, steel, or industrial environments highly regarded
- Comfortable with repetitive manual handling and physically demanding work
- Ability to work in hot conditions and around industrial equipment
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Forklift licence (LF) – desirable but not essential
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Full working rights in Australia
