Kmest Pty Ltd is a growing e-commerce fulfilment business operating from our warehouse in Chipping Norton, South West Sydney. We are looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our daily order-picking and dispatch operations.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the warehouse, making sure orders go out accurately and on time, and that the team works safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, allocate and supervise daily picking, packing and parcel dispatch
- Lead, roster and train a small team of warehouse staff
- Receive inbound deliveries, check goods against paperwork and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate stock records; coordinate cycle counts and stocktakes
- Liaise with couriers and transport providers to ensure on-time dispatch
- Enforce WHS standards, keep the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
- Report daily throughput, errors and issues to management
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse layout, processes and accuracy
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year's experience in a warehouse supervisory, 2IC or team leader role
- Working understanding of pick/pack/dispatch and inventory control
- Confident using warehouse/inventory software, SaaS platforms, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills and the ability to lead by example
- Full Australian working rights
- Current LF forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
