The growth of demand in the property consultancy sector has opened up the doors for our team to expand. To do this, attracting talent with drive, attention to detail, administration, communication and customer support skills is essential for our roadmap. If this sounds like you, then we would like for you to apply for the position with our company as a Claim Manager helping our clients.
Based in South East Queensland with an existing remote working environment, the successful applicant will be expected to work Monday to Friday, between 9am and 6pm and be a part of our Remote Claim Management division. The successful applicant will be required to work with a portfolio of insurance claims from start to completion, specialising in the client side service and administration to ensure important milestones, updates, and claim status notice are communicated whilst our team work towards the fair and accurate settlement for event related damage and loss our customers have incurred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of insurance claims from start to finish, working closely with clients and our internal team of experts including the claim manager
- Provide monthly updates via phone and email to your clients
- Facilitate important milestone meetings throughout the claim cycle
- Facilitate scope review and building contract meetings with your assigned clients
- Have a basic level of residential construction for communicating specifications, reports and take-offs so as to understand the scope of works for the property repairs
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in a similar role with insurance, IDR, loss/adjusting or building and construction projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to control meetings and conversations, handle objections and build rapport with clients
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines, with a history of working with KPIs
- Self-motivated and comfortable working from home, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficient in Google Business and CRM software, and experienced in analyzing specifications and drawings for scope of works
- Strong ethics, high integrity, and a commitment to always putting the customer first
- Commercial, contractual and financial acumen
- Have a sales/administrative background with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
- High attention to detail with an outcome focused approach
- Ability to make decisions and “think on your feet”
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Confident using CRM software and cloud based tools
- Prior experience and or qualifications in the construction or insurance industry will be advantageous however not essential
