About the role

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Coverage and Financial Lines practice and are seeking a talented Senior Associate 5+ PAE to join our high-performing team in Sydney. You will work alongside our Principals on a range of complex and high-value insurance matters, supporting leading insurer and corporate clients across:

- Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O;) liability
- Financial Institutions liability
- Professional Indemnity (PI)
- Media & Technology risks
- Coverage advice and defence work

This role offers strong exposure to technically sophisticated work, meaningful responsibility from the outset, and the chance to further develop your expertise within a collaborative and growing practice.





About you

You will likely bring:

- Around 5+ years’ post-admission experience, with strong exposure to litigation and insurance law, including coverage and financial lines
- Ability to manage client expectations, advise in policy and complex issues with a practical and client focused approach.
- Proven capability to run matters autonomously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and concise style
- A commercial mindset, with the ability to articulate positions and negotiate effectively
- Demonstrated experience, or a keen interest, in coaching, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
- A proactive approach with a strong drive to progress your career and take the next step
- A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team outcomes and supporting a high-performing environment
