We are currently looking for experienced Skilled Labourers with Telehandler experience to join a range of commercial construction projects throughout Brisbane. Locations include Teneriffe, Fortitude Valley, Stafford and Annerley. This is a hands-on role where you'll be carrying out general construction labouring while operating site machinery when required. Immediate starts are available, with the opportunity to begin as soon as tomorrow.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- General construction labouring on active building sites
- Operating a Telehandler, Forklift, Hoist and EWP or other machines required
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
- Assisting trades and site supervisors with day-to-day tasks
- Site clean-up, material handling and maintaining a protected work environment
- Following site safety procedures and WHS requirements
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- $37 to $45 per hour + super
- Additional meal allowance (over 9.5 hours on a shift)
- Additional daily travel allowance per day
- Time and a half and double-time rates paid for overtime
- Weekly pay
- Ongoing work with permanent opportunities available
KEY REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY
- White Card
- Current Forklift (LF) Licence
- Current Personnel and Materials Hoist Ticket
- Current EWP Licence
- Any other relevant valid tickets
- Previous construction site experience
- Experience operating machinery on construction sites
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Own transport is highly desirable
- Full PPE
