About the role
Reporting to the Chief Technologist,
you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient imaging services across modalities including General X-Ray, CT, and MRI (with opportunities to develop further).
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
- Environment: Supportive, professional, and patient‑centred
- Exposure: A broad and unique caseload as Cairns’ principal provider of imaging services
Experienced Radiographers (2 plus years) encouraged to apply. Graduates are also welcome.
What you’ll be doing
- Performing high-quality imaging across General X-Ray, CT, MRI, and Mammography
- Providing excellent patient care and ensuring a safe, positive experience
- Collaborating with radiologists, referrers, and the clinic team
Maintaining strict quality and safety standards
What you’ll need
- Current Radiography Radiation Licence and professional registration
- Relevant qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Radiography
A collaborative approach and strong communication skills
