Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, creative and career-focused individuals to join our esteemed Company to provide top service as a telecommunication lines worker.

Main Duties

· examining drawings, specifications and work areas to determine positioning and connections for equipment to be installed

· locating faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters and transmission measuring equipment

· attaching wires and cables to appliances

· adjusting, replacing and repairing faulty items, and testing equipment using electronic instruments

· installing cabling for telephone, radio, pay TV and computer transmission

· joining cables and sealing sheaths with lead and thermoplastic

· erecting, testing and maintaining aerial and underground wires and cables, and radio and mobile phone antennae

· installing telecommunications equipment and appliances such as telephones, switchboards and data transmission equipment





Qualification

- Certificate III in Telecommunications Rigging Installation or equivalent

Experience

- Minimum of 12 months (1 year) full-time experience in the telecommunication field
- Extensive experience in similar position may substitute formal qualifications.

- Proficiency in using instruments and equipment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to be able to multitask
