The Employment Consultant Inclusive Employment Australia is responsible for leading, coaching and supporting participants to find employment.

This is a role where you can make a real difference in your own community.

What will you be doing?

- Supporting and understanding the clients' barriers and work to develop employment goals
- Creating and sourcing employment opportunities
- Supporting and helping clients identify their skills, abilities, and secure sustainable employment
- Providing and delivering a high level of customer service to our clients, employers, and stakeholders
- Creating, tailoring, and implementing a partnered job plan
- Building sustainable and long-lasting relationships with local employers, registered training organisations and community organisations
- Explaining to employers the benefits and supports in hiring someone with a barrier/disability

Who are we looking for?

- Someone who can overcome objections and break down employment barriers
- Ability to deliver efficient and effective strategies to positively engage with employers
- Awareness of vulnerabilities and the positive effects of employment
- Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills

To be considered:

- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
- Complete an Australia History Criminal Check
- Have a current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain a Working with Children Check before employment
- Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
