About the role
This vital role supports our chefs and kitchen team, ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen
Key Responsibilities:
Be an integral part of the operations of busy commercial kitchens
- Washing of crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and kitchen equipment;
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and benches ensuring all rubbish is removed and equipment is correctly stored
- Assist the chefs with general kitchen duties
- General front of house cleaning duties
- Comply with all company policies, procedures,
standards and safe work practices.
Skills & Experience
· Energetic, friendly, organised, enjoy working in a team environment;
· Previous cleaning experience and an understanding of Food Safety;
· Adaptable with roster and be able to work on weekdays, evenings and public holidays;
· Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant or hotel environment.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.00 – $40.00 per hour
