We are looking for a motivated head baker to join us here in Kirrawee, Sydney whose duties include but not limited to:

- Manufacturing pies, sausage rolls & other savoury bites
- Production of cakes and pastries
- Manufacturing bread products
- Capable of using pastry processing and mixing equipment
- Manufacturing pastry
- Roster Management
- Inventory Management
- Recipe maintenance and development
- HACCP, Quality control and assurance standards to be maintained.

General activities will include:

1. Weigh up of ingredients for mixing doughs.

2. Mixing, kneading, maturing, cutting, mould and shape dough

3. Mixing various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies.

4. Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream, and edible toppings

5. Proofing bread and pastry correctly

6. Ensure oven temperature is correct for baking different products.

7. Ensure the quality and used by date of ingredients during receival.

8. Rotating ingredients (FIFO)

9. Operate machines which roll and mould dough.

10. Hand shaping/ moulding bread, rolls, pastry

11. Mixing and baking of Muesli

12. Emptying, cleaning and greasing trays, tins,



and other cooking utensils

13. Reporting any issues and hazards

Ideally you will have:

- 3 years or more in a similar position in a busy environment.
- Certificate III in baking Preferred
- Excellent people skills and a suitable attitude the capacity to lead, grow, and collaborate with a large team.
- Industry enthusiasm.
- Being able to take the initiative and lead in these practical roles a robust sense of finance and the willingness to go above and beyond.
- Knowledge of compliance and food safety. y

In order to join our team, we are searching for experienced Bakers. We are seeking total experts that can improve what has already been imparted while working with their team. We are looking for Bakers who like coaching and growing the team they supervise, who have a keen eye for detail, understand their roles and can communicate to others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $107,000.00 per year
