Do you want to lead a team that helps people access safe, stable housing and support when they need it most? Can you bring strong leadership, sound judgement and a commitment to respectful service delivery? If so, this could be the role for you. In this role, you will lead frontline housing and homelessness services through a Housing Service Centre, helping deliver practical housing solutions for diverse customers and communities. Your work will contribute directly to the department's vision for a fair and sustainable housing system and support better outcomes for Queenslanders.

You will provide leadership, guidance and day-to-day support to teams delivering housing intake and assessment, tenancy management and property management. You will help create an environment where people feel supported, valued and clear about expectations, while ensuring services are responsive, consistent and focused on customer needs.

As part of the local leadership team, you will work collaboratively across teams and the broader Frontline Services network to support service delivery, solve problems and drive continuous improvement. You will lead with professionalism, accountability and care, and foster a team culture built on communication, collaboration, learning, safety and positive performance.

In this role, you will:

- lead and coordinate a range of frontline service delivery activities
- support staff to achieve high-quality performance and build capability
- promote a strong customer focus and help the team respond to changing needs and competing priorities
- contribute positively to the local leadership team and work cooperatively across the service network
- apply workplace requirements and responsibilities, including financial, people management and administrative processes
- model ethical,



professional and culturally responsive behaviour
- support improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples through respectful communication and an understanding of relevant protocols and issues
- maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety as part of everyday operations.

This role includes regular field work. You will need to be comfortable working in changing environments and able to respond calmly and appropriately in situations that may at times be complex or unpredictable. Good judgement, awareness of risk and a strong commitment to safety are essential.

To succeed in this role, you will bring the ability to lead people well, build positive working relationships and support a team-oriented team environment. You will understand customer and stakeholder perspectives, manage competing demands, communicate clearly, and apply sound business management skills, including financial and people management.

Mandatory requirement: Class C driver licence.
