- Work independently end to end including development and testing.
- Develop applications using C as the programming language and work on Ingres database in Solaris/Linux platforms.
- Build the Ingres database from scratch and migrate the data.
- Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems.
- Investigate and develop skills in current technologies
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Monitor everyday activities of system and provide required support.
Mandatory Skills:
- Knowledge on Ingres 4GL, Ingres ABF, QBF, ISQL, Database Procedures, Rules, Database Events.
- Strong hold on C and C++ programming languages.
- Database design and development (Ingres database)
- Ability to optimize the complex Ingres queries and suggest solutions.
- Experience in working on Solaris platform
- Experience with shell scripting.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Passion for technology
- Any experience on AWS cloud platform is an added advantage.
