We are seeking a Disability Support Worker for casual shifts around Rooty Hill (NSW) with the potential of further shifts around Sydney area

The Support Worker role ensures that delivery of supports is aligned with participant’s goals as well as with MCP values and model of Service Partnership, promoting a capacity building and community development approach which leverages the resources and knowledge of Evercare Community Services lived experience including staff, volunteers, mentors, coaches, community networks and connections.

Support Workers have the privilege of working alongside people every day to ensure they are living a full and active life both in the community and in their home. Our support workers are passionate in assisting our clients with activities of daily living as determined by the needs of their Plan. These include but are not limited to:

- Personal Care; overall personal hygiene maintenance




- Building Independence; assist participants in building their confidence and empowering their ability to make choices confidently or competently
- Social Support; transporting to appointments, activities to help the participant engage in learning

People with previous Youth/ Social Work experience are highly recommended to apply for this Position.

The successful candidate would ideally possess the below qualifications:

- Current Driver’s License and own vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A minimum of two (2) employment references (mandatory)
- NDIS Workers Orientation module certificate
