Formwork Job Description

Qualifications:

- Current Driver's License (VIC)
- Construction White Card
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the trade
- Proven experience working in the Building & Construction Industry
- Trade Certificate (Formwork Carpenter)
- Physically fit
- Australian Citizen or valid Working Visa

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Form worker to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various formwork tasks on construction sites. Robust project management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpret technical drawings and plans for formwork accurately.

2. Create formwork templates and tie installations for stability.

3. Inspect formwork quality and safety compliance.

4. Assist with setting, leveling, and aligning formwork.





5. Identify and correct errors before concrete pouring.

6. Remove Formwork after concrete pour is complete.

7. Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and other trades.

8. Report job progress, incidents, and accidents promptly.

Skills:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in formwork on construction sites
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
