Algoteq builds institutional-grade algorithmic trading systems for modern financial markets.
Job Duties:
- Analyses business and operational requirements to determine appropriate
- software solutions for trading systems, and evaluates current systems toidentify gaps in functionality, performance or reliability and identifies technology and platform limitations affecting existing trading applications and workflows.
- Designs, builds and maintains web-based trading interfaces and visualisations
using TypeScript, JavaScript, HUGO and Tailwind frameworks in line withagreed technical specifications and organisational quality standards.
- Develops high-performance web visualisations for time-series analytics,
trading data, order book displays and real-time trading GUI components.AI-driven analytics and decision-making within the trading ecosystem.generation and market monitoring.and defects in accordance with defined test plans and security requirements.procedures for developed systems and applications.on new development, licensing or system upgrades.reliable software releases.development lifecycle and participates in incident investigations todetermine root cause and security impact.
- Configures and manages LLM pipelines and RAG database systems to support
- Develops and maintains AI agents for automated trading analysis, signal
- Conducts systematic testing and debugging of software, resolving faults
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation, user guides and operating
- Assists in evaluating software design options and contributes to decisions
- Supports automated build, test and deployment pipelines to maintain
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives across the software
- Applies encryption methods to protect data in storage and transit.
- Identifies and assesses risks to system performance and security across the trading platform's lifecycle, and implements mitigation measures to safeguard functionality and data integrity.Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and modern web frameworks.
- Familiarity with data visualisation libraries and real-time UI concepts.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environments and version control systems.
- Strong orbject-oriented design and software development skills.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
