At Carne & Cucina, we’re building a restaurant that’s centered around fire, quality produce, good wine, and genuine hospitality. An Italian inspired restaurant and butcher with a focus on premium meats, big flavours, and a dining room that feels energetic without losing attention to detail.

Service here is polished but approachable. We want guests to feel looked after without things ever feeling scripted or overdone. The restaurant moves quickly, especially on busy nights, so the team needs to be sharp, adaptable, and genuinely enjoy hospitality.

Right now, we’re looking for a casual section waiter to join the floor team.

You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team where everyone contributes to the flow of service. We work hard, help each other out, and keep things moving. You won’t be standing around waiting for instructions - we value people who can read the room, stay proactive, and bring good energy to the floor.

As a section waiter, you’ll be responsible for creating a great experience for your guests from start to finish. That means confidence with people, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm when the restaurant gets busy.

We care about good food and wine, but we also care about personality. Hospitality skills can be taught — enthusiasm and attitude are harder to find.

What we’re looking for:

- Hospitality or customer service experience essential




- Weekend availability is a must
- Someone confident, friendly, and well presented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in food, wine, and hospitality culture
- A basic understanding of wine and cocktails
- A team player who’s willing to learn and improve

The role offers approximately 15-20 hours per week, making it ideal for someone studying or looking for a second job. Friday & Saturday night availability is essential.
