About the Edinburgh Health Centre
Located at RAAF Base Edinburgh, 25km North of Adelaide. This super-base accommodates 3500 personnel from the Australian Army and RAAF, as well as being home to the RAAF Institute of Aviation Medicine. The health centre operates a 16-bed low dependency ward 24/7. It provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, dental, physiotherapy, mental health, pharmaceutical and rehabilitation services.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).
What you’ll do
- Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
- Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care
What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care

his role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
