Disability Support Worker – Brisbane Inner City (Female)

4 Hearts Support is expanding our team and is seeking compassionate, reliable female Disability Support Workers for anticipated support services in Brisbane's inner city.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships while supporting participants to live independently and achieve their goals.

About the role

We are seeking a female support worker who:

- Is approximately 30–40 years of age (preferred by the participant)
- Has English as their first language (participant preference)
- Is calm, patient and emotionally mature
- Is reliable, punctual and qualified
- Can build strong therapeutic relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
- Is confident supporting people with complex physical and psychosocial disabilities

Proposed shifts

Monday – Friday

- 6:00am – 9:00am
- 5:00pm – 9:00pm

Saturday & Sunday

- 2:00pm – 9:00pm

These shifts are expected to commence following confirmation of a new support package.

Essential requirements





- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
- Smartphone
- Right to work in Australia

Experience supporting participants with:

- Physical disabilities
- Spinal cord injuries
- Trauma-informed practice
- Mental health conditions
- Personal care
- Community access
- Manual handling
