Born Social | Port Melbourne | Full time | Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days from home)

We're Born Social, a social-first creative marketing agency with studios in Port Melbourne and Brooklyn, NYC. We work with brands across beauty, wellness, hospitality, food and beverage, retail, fashion and lifestyle, and we're on the hunt for an experienced Account Manager to join our Melbourne team.

This is a role for someone who genuinely loves social. You know what performs and why, you can write in five different brand voices before lunch, and you get a kick out of seeing content you planned actually land with an audience.

What you'll be doing

You'll manage your own portfolio of 5 to 8 clients and be their main point of contact for all things social. Day to day, that looks like:

- Leading social strategy and keeping it tied to each client's goals
- Planning, coordinating and scheduling content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
- Writing captions, scripts and copy that actually sound like the brand
- Planning and attending content shoots, and briefing our creative team so they can do their best work
- Directing community management across your accounts
- Managing influencer and UGC campaigns end to end where needed
- Running regular WIP meetings and keeping clients feeling informed and looked after
- Light video and graphic editing
- Monthly reporting and ongoing optimisation

What we're looking for

- 5+ years experience in social media management + Degree in marketing, communications or media plus solid hands-on experience




- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to switch between brand voices across different industries
- A deep understanding of what performs on social and why
- Experience developing and presenting social strategies
- Solid client communication and relationship skills, you're proactive, warm and calm under pressure
- Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines
- Comfortable with scheduling tools, Google Workspace, Slack and Trello. Adobe and Figma familiarity is a bonus
- A current driver's licence and reliable car for getting to shoots and client meetings
