Donvale Gardens has an exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to work Night Duty Shifts. Someone who wants to make a difference and enrich the lives of those we are trusted to care for.

You will be directly working alongside Personal Care and Registered Nursing staff and as part of an experienced care team.

You will plan and implement evidence based, person-centered personal care as allocated and or delegated by a Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse in accordance with individual resident care plans.

You will ensure that the rights of residents are respected.

You will be able to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to establish relationships with residents and their representatives.

You will be able to verbally communicate exceptions to the care plan to the Supervisory RN and be able to document care in the resident's file.

Preferably you will have experience in the Aged Care or care sectors. You will have a Cert 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent) a current police check (no more than 3 months old), drivers license, own transport and be able to work over a 7 day roster.

You will bee prepared to complete pre-employment mandatory training.

Pay: $36.22 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 38.0 per week
