Role details The Intensive Care Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for Clinical Nurses to join their team on a temporary basis. Your chance The Clinical Nurse (CN) provides nursing services within the health service settings; and is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research. The activities are predominantly clinical in nature but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. The CN provides advanced level clinical skills to ensure patient-focused evidence-based nursing care, plans and coordinates the clinical management of patient/client care and provides leadership and support to other nursing staff. About the Team The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Mackay Base Hospital (MBH) is the primary critical care service withing the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
