Your role is dynamic! From enhancing accessibility to helping us streamline our operations, you will ensure all our clients in need are able to access essential food services and have a welcoming workplace!

Some of your key responsibilities include:

- Deliver and collect bread products from Woolworths, ensuring timely and effective

distribution.

- Participate in promoting the Gordonvale Food Pantry, seeking out community

donation opportunities to enhance support.

- Collaborate with volunteers and team members to facilitate Food Pantry operations

and maintain opening hours.

- Engage with external services linked to the Food Pantry, fostering partnerships and

community connections for broader impact.

Skills and Requirements





- Minimum availability on Food Bank day- currently on Thursdays.
- Ability to lift up to 15kg bread bins onto trolley or into vehicle.
- Current open Qld Drivers Licence to transport food items (use of TBS owned

vehicle will be provided).

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills especially the ability to interact

face to face with people in need or crisis.

- Possession of or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and

Criminal Record Check.
