Table 26 Springfield is seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team. We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to preparing high-quality meals and maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards in a fast-paced hospitality workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, season and cook a wide variety of meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
- Assist with planning menus and estimating food and labour costs in consultation with management.
- Monitor food quality throughout preparation, cooking and presentation to ensure consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, equipment and food storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate stock appropriately, assist with ordering food supplies and minimise wastage.
- Receive, inspect and store food supplies in accordance with food safety requirements.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and demonstrate appropriate cooking techniques and food preparation procedures.





Essential Requirements

- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification) is mandatory.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time work experience as a Cook.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
