About the Role:

The Department of Corrections is seeking experienced and motivated Senior Youth Justice Officers to lead and supervise teams of Youth Justice Officers within a secure, culturally secure and therapeutic youth detention environment. The role supports the care, supervision and rehabilitation of young people in custody, ensuring safe operations and positive outcomes through effective leadership, mentoring and incident management. Participation in a 24/7 rotational roster is required.

Work Unit:

Alice Springs Intake and Transfer Facility (ASITF) – Youth Justice, Department of Corrections. The facility plays a critical role in supporting the safe custody, wellbeing and rehabilitation of young people,



working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver trauma-informed and culturally responsive services.
