Project Manager – Commercial Flooring

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll be the link between our office, our site teams, and our builder clients — making sure every job is programmed, resourced, and delivered on time and to spec.

Tasks & Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple commercial flooring projects, from handover through to completion
- Build and maintain look-ahead programs, coordinating installers and subcontractors to meet builder timeframes
- Forge strong working relationships with builders, site managers, flooring reps and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients on-site and manage day-to-day project queries and issues
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries against the program




- Administer variations — identifying scope changes on site and processing them through to approval
- Monitor project progress against program and budget, flagging risks early
- Manage defects, punch lists and handover documentation
- Work alongside our Estimating team to ensure a smooth handover from tender to delivery
- Maintain accurate job records, site diaries and progress reporting

Qualifications & Experience

- 3+ years' experience in commercial flooring project management is essential
- Based in South East Queensland
- Knowledge/experience with MeasureSquare or similar estimating software an advantage (training provided)
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
- Existing relationships within the commercial flooring and construction industry, including builder and subcontractor/labour contacts
- Excellent time management, organisation and attention to detail
- Strong written, verbal and numerical communication skills
- Ability to take direction, use initiative, and work well both independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm to grow within the role
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- Solid planning and look-ahead scheduling skills
