- To unload and load incoming and outgoing general freight with a forklift and sort into designated areas or into delivery vehicles
- Pack and unpack containers
- To immediately report any fault identified during pre-operational inspections or during the course of the day
- Receiving and dispatch orders
- Undertake freight and load checking activities as directed and raise any order discrepancies
- Carry out workplace inspections as directed
- Manage all aspects of freight returns/damaged goods, confirm damage, and document and photograph according to correct practice and protocols
- Ensure equipment is kept in optimal order and report issues immediately.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the warehouse, cleaning as you go.
- Identify opportunities for improvement for freight movement and yard activities to improve service levels provided to customers.
- Ensure dangerous goods are handled correctly and regulations are adhered to.
- Attend to any other duties as required and follow all reasonable instructions

Pay: $34.00 – $35.00 per hour
