About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Grinder / Finisher to join their team. This hands-on role involves working across a variety of residential, commercial, and structural projects throughout the Sydney metropolitan area.
You will be responsible for restoring, grinding, sanding, and refinishing steel surfaces to a high standard, helping to bring structural steelwork and stainless-steel surfaces back to excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

- Grinding and finishing structural steel, posts, handrails, and other steel components
- Sanding stainless steel surfaces to remove scratches, graffiti, and imperfections.
- Grinding and cleaning welds to achieve a quality finish
- Preparing steel surfaces for touch-up painting and refinishing.
- Manually applying paint and touch-ups using a brush to restore and protect steel surfaces.
- Working on residential homes, commercial buildings, verandas, and other construction projects.
- Using power tools and equipment supplied by the client
- Travelling to various job sites across Sydney Metro as required.

About You

- Previous experience as a Grinder,



Finisher, Trade Assistant, Metal Worker, or similar.
- Confident using grinders, sanders, and related hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- White Card preferred.
- Driver's licence and reliable transport highly regarded.
