The Opportunity: Reporting to the Field Manager Health and Safety, purpose of the role is to actively advise, challenge, and collaborate with field personnel, including managers, supervisors, front line workers, and contractors, to drive the implementation and continuous improvement of Arrow Energy’s Health, Safety & Management System (HSEMS). Work proactively to achieve Target Zero, fostering a culture of safety, motivation, and engagement across Projects, Wells, and Operations teams.

- Field – Miles / Chinchilla or Dalby, Australia
- 5/2 or 15/13 roster

In addition, as a Health and Safety Field Advisor you will:

- Advise and motivate line superintendents, contract owners/holders, and supervisors to provide HS leadership, and through them, influence workers to prioritise H&S; outcomes Provide advice on the requirements for compliance with the HSEMS and HS related regulations and standards. Support contract holders/owners to ensure contractor compliance with Arrow requirements.
- Participate in the planning,



execution and coaching of others in assurance activities to monitor the integrity and effectiveness of controls and to identify actual and potential failures in control.
- Facilitate and support line leaders in conducting investigations, including providing coaching and support on the use of supporting HSE systems.
- Participate in the implementation of operational plans to address and improve the controls of hazards, their associated risks, and compliance with standards
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the setting.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.

About You:

- Qualification required: Cert IV, Diploma or Degree qualifications in a Health and Safety Discipline.
- Equivalent relevant and in-depth resources industry experience
- Previous experience in HSE advisory roles within the resources industry or equivalent
- Able to apply a methodical approach to problem solving
- Confident in interacting and engaging with operational staff, supervisors and consultative groups.
- Strong communication skills, able to prepare reports and use data effectively
- Current C class driving licence

- Desirable:

- - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Health and Safety role.
- Internal Auditor qualification.
- Diploma level qualification in Health and Safety or related discipline,



and/or Workplace Rehabilitation Coordinator training and experience.
