About the Role

Reporting to and working closely with the Building and Facilities Manager, the Facilities Operations Manager will support the daily management of the Club’s facilities and management system.

This is a highly interactive, hands-on coordination role that combines facilities administration, maintenance planning, contractor management, compliance monitoring and operational support.

You will work closely with internal departments, contractors, tradespeople and service providers to ensure maintenance activities and facilities projects are completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to Club operations.

The role will also support ongoing building works, refurbishments, facilities upgrades and future property-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the Building and Facilities Manager, you will:

- Coordinate the day-to-day maintenance, presentation and operation of the Club’s venue, buildings, assets and residential properties.
- Plan and oversee preventative, reactive and statutory maintenance, including prioritising requests and responding to urgent issues.
- Engage, schedule and supervise contractors, tradespeople and service providers.
- Ensure contractors complete all required licences, inductions, permits,



risk assessments and safety documentation before commencing work.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, plant, equipment and facilities, and coordinate corrective actions where required.
- Support compliance across fire safety, building safety, emergency systems, workplace health and safety and contractor management.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, compliance registers, asset information, service reports and contractor documentation.
- Support building works, refurbishments, facilities upgrades and future development projects.
- Obtain quotations, raise purchase requests, monitor costs and assist with invoice reconciliation.
- Coordinate works with operational teams to minimise disruption during trading, functions, events and peak periods.
- Respond promptly to facilities issues and escalate significant safety, compliance or operational concerns.
- Support sustainability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are an organised, proactive and practical facilities skilled who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment.

You can confidently manage competing priorities, build strong working relationships and ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You understand that facilities management within a hospitality environment requires flexibility, strong administration, practical problem-solving and regular communication with operational teams, contractors and senior leaders.

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:





- Experience in facilities management, building operations, property, maintenance coordination or a related operational role.
- Practical knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance, contractor management and building services.
- An understanding of workplace health and safety, fire safety, building compliance and contractor requirements.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, administration and record-management skills.
- The ability to interpret quotations, service reports, maintenance schedules and contractor documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Confidence working with contractors, tradespeople, operational managers and employees across all levels of an organisation.
- A calm, responsive and solutions-focused approach to urgent maintenance and operational issues.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and facilities, maintenance or building-management systems.
- A current driver’s licence.

A trade qualification or qualification in Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction, Property, Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

Experience within hospitality, clubs, hotels, entertainment, retail, commercial property or another continuously operating customer environment will also be highly regarded.
