About the Role

This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on Senior Accountant role within our specialist Tax team, where your technical expertise and leadership capability will be genuinely valued.

In this role, you'll oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns, BAS and IAS, FBT, and tax effect accounting, while delivering tailored tax planning and advisory solutions. Your work will include exposure to restructures, consolidations, international tax considerations, and succession planning, as well as providing clear, strategic advice around tax risk, compliance, and legislative change.

Internally, you'll play an important role in the team - supporting junior accountants, answering questions, and helping ensure work is delivered accurately and on time. You'll manage your own workflow, stay on top of deadlines, and contribute to a team environment where people can rely on each other.

About You

You are a detail-oriented problem-solver who thrives in technical environments.



You're passionate about tax and take pride in guiding clients through complex issues.

You're already working in public practice and comfortable managing compliance work across a range of entities. You enjoy being organised, delivering accurate work, and building steady, professional relationships with your clients.

You'll bring a CA or CPA qualification (or be well on your way), along with three to five years of Business Services experience, ideally some corporate tax experience or an interest in this area. You're confident using systems like Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks, and have a solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards.

You're also someone who contributes positively to a team - reliable, approachable and willing to support those around you while continuing to learn yourself.
