Retail Tasker runs field teams across Australia who execute in-store merchandising, check brand compliance, and capture real-time retail data through our own field-operations platform.

The Data Analyst turns that operational data into a explicit, accurate picture of performance and execution across our client accounts.

Retail Tasker is seeking a Data Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you'll:

- Build and maintain the pipelines that bring field data in securely from our Taskers nationally, making sure it's properly stored and validated before it reaches reporting

- Spot-check incoming field submissions against expected patterns, flagging anomalies before they reach a client dashboard

- Write scripts and application logic that compile to SQL to support data collection and analysis

- Analyse task results, stock levels, and stock events captured by our field teams to report on execution quality, availability trends, and historical performance

- Build and maintain reporting metrics and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Excel/SQL) that track performance period over period across client accounts





- Report on in-store layout/planogram compliance and progress against client objectives as field data comes in

- Keep client and Tasker data handled correctly across our systems, in line with our internal data policies and client confidentiality requirements

- Partner with both our Internal and Client Services teams to communicate results where we Win on the Shelf

We're looking for someone who brings:

- Minimum Bachelor degree in Data Analytics or related field.

- Minimum 1 year of work experience in the FMCG Industry

- Experience in data analysis, ideally within retail, FMCG, or field-operations environments

- Strong data analysis and reporting skills (SQL, Excel, Power BI, Nielsen/IRI/retailer data)

- Comfort writing scripts/application logic and working with operational data from multiple sources

- Strong communication skills - you'll be presenting insight to both internal teams and client stakeholders

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
