Position Overview

We are seeking a Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting menu items to a high standard, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This hands-on role is perfect for someone experienced in a busy commercial kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, cook, and plate a range of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and standards.

· Maintain consistent quality, portion control, food safety, and presentation.

· Assist with food preparation, ingredient organisation, and kitchen setup.

· Support stock control, ordering,



and kitchen hygiene procedures.

· Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.

Skills & Experience Required

· Certificate III (or IV) in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification preferred.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a commercial kitchen (restaurant/hospitality).

· Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations.

· Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
