Salary: AUD $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

The Baristas' Shed is a busy, family-friendly hospitality venue in Marsden Park, NSW, renowned for its specialty coffee, fresh seasonal menu, and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, create and update menus in consultation with management, ensuring quality, variety and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare, cook and present high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise, train and coordinate kitchen staff to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies and minimise food wastage.
- Rostering,



inventory control and the day-to-day management of kitchen operations.
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.

Selection Criteria:

- Relevant qualification equivalent to Diploma or higher, or at least three years of relevant full-time experience.
- Minimum two years' experience as a Chef in a busy commercial kitchen.
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace, including weekends and public holidays.
