Your New Role
Join the Investment Strategy team and help shape the investment solutions that support members through retirement. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of investment strategy, asset liability management and retirement outcomes, leading strategic initiatives that influence portfolio design, retirement defaults and long-term member outcomes. Your role will include:
- Leading strategic initiatives that improve retirement outcomes, including the design and evolution of retirement investment solutions and MySuper settings.
- Driving projects focused on members’ asset allocation decisions, including retirement defaults and innovative portfolio design approaches.
- Owning and enhance the Fund’s Asset Liability Management (ALM) capability, including the in-house management of Defined Benefit modelling frameworks.
- Delivering annual Defined Benefit strategic asset allocation reviews and maintain key retirement investment models.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders across Investments, Product, Retirement, Advice and Policy teams to deliver strategic outcomes and provide subject matter expertise.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
- Significant experience across investments, retirement strategy, superannuation or asset allocation, with strong commercial and strategic judgement.
- Strong understanding of MySuper design, target date funds, retirement investment solutions and Asset Liability Management (ALM).
- Experience leading strategic projects and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical business outcomes.
- Knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes is advantageous, but not essential. Professional qualifications such as CFA or actuarial credentials are highly regarded.
- You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
