About the Role
We're seeking a reliable, hands-on Detailing Assistant to support our senior detailer across a range of automotive work. You'll be working on some of Melbourne's finest vehicles from supercars to prestige daily drivers in a professional CBD studio environment.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Washing, decontaminating and prepping vehicles for detailing and coating work
- Interior detailing: vacuuming, steam cleaning, leather and trim care
- Assisting with paint correction and machine polishing preparation
- Applying tyre, trim and glass treatments
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and presentation-ready
- Assisting with vehicle movements, customer handovers and quality checks
About You
Prior detailing experience preferrable.
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes genuine pride in their work and notices the small stuff
- Is punctual, reliable and comfortable on their feet for full shifts
- Follows instructions carefully and asks questions when unsure
- Is comfortable working carefully around high-value vehicles
- Holds a current driver's licence (manual licence highly regarded)
- Has full Australian working rights
Bonus points for:
- Previous detailing, car wash or automotive experience
- An interest in ceramic coatings and paint protection
- Weekend and flexible availability
