Barista & Till Operator – Bacino Bar Espresso

Bacino Bar Espresso is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Baristas and Till Operators to join our team across our cafés in North Curl Curl, Balgowlah, and Manly.

About the Barista Role

We’re looking for talented Baristas who can help us deliver the exceptional coffee and warm café experience Bacino is known for.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and espresso drinks.

- Set up and calibrate grinders to ensure consistent extraction.

- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and supplies.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar area.

- Ensure all equipment is clean and functioning properly.

- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.

- Work collaboratively with our café managers and front-of-house team.

- Assist with opening setup and end-of-day station duties.

We’re Looking For

- Proven experience as a Barista.

- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.

- Reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Passion for coffee, efficiency, and great customer experiences.





About the Till Role

We’re looking for friendly and reliable Till Operators who can ensure smooth, accurate transactions and a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

- Manage order-taking and the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.

- Handle cash and card transactions confidently.

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service.

- Assist customers with enquiries and provide product information.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the till area.

- Ensure accurate cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation.

- Work collaboratively with baristas and kitchen staff during service.

We’re Looking For

- Experience in cash handling and customer service.

- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask efficiently during busy service periods.

- A positive attitude, reliability, and a sense of responsibility.

- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
