We are currently seeking a reliable, supportive, and proactive Youth Support Worker to assist a 15-year-old participant located in Coonabarabran, NSW 2357. This is a great prospect for someone passionate about working with young people and helping them build independence and confidence.

Schedule

Monday to Friday – 4:00pm to 7:00pm

(15 hours per week)

About the Participant

The participant is a 15-year-old young person who requires consistent after-school support. He enjoys physical activity and is working towards several important life-skills and independence goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide transport to and from local boxing classes
- Support with meal planning and meal preparation
- Assist with skill-building for future independence
- Support to complete practice Learner’s Test (Ls)
- Assist with exploring employment and study goals
- Provide positive mentoring, routine building and after-school structure
- Encourage healthy habits, emotional regulation,



and daily living skills

Ideal Candidate

- Experience working with young people (preferred)
- Active, patient, and engaging
- Holds a current driver licence and has reliable transport
- Has or is willing to obtain:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Able to build rapport and support a young person’s goals
- Committed to consistent weekday support (Mon–Fri)
