THE TRUSTEE FOR FUTURE GLOBAL CORP t/a AURAZ HAIR BEAUTY BARBERS is seeking a dedicated and skilled Hairdresser to join our friendly and qualified team at our Truganina salon. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a wide range of hairdressing and grooming services while maintaining high standards of hygiene, professionalism and customer care.

The role is suitable for a motivated hairdresser with strong technical skills, excellent client communication and a genuine passion for hairstyling, grooming, customer service and modern salon trends. The successful applicant will work in a supportive salon environment with access to quality tools, products and an established client base.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Provide professional advice to clients on hair care, suitable hairstyles, treatments and hair products based on client needs and preferences.
- Shampoo hair and condition scalps to prepare clients for cutting, colouring, styling or treatment services.
- Apply hair colouring, tinting, chemical straightening and permanent waving techniques using appropriate products and procedures.
- Cut, trim and shape hair using scissors, clippers and razors.
- Style hair into different looks, including blow-drying, straightening, curling, braids, dreadlocks and hair extensions where required.
- Groom, shave and trim beards and moustaches with precision where required.
- Clean work areas and sanitise instruments, tools and equipment in accordance with hygiene and safety requirements.
- Arrange and manage client appointments, process payments and maintain customer records.
- Clean, colour,



cut and style wigs and hairpieces where required.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided.
- Assist with recommending and selling suitable hair care and beauty products to clients.
- Assist in managing stock levels, product mix and inventory requirements.
- Participate in purchasing decisions, pricing strategies and promotional activities where required.
- Keep up to date with current hairdressing, barbering, grooming and salon service trends.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful applicant must have:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in a salon, hairdressing or barber setting.
- Strong practical skills in cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatment services.
- Ability to provide professional advice on hairstyles, grooming, hair care and suitable products.
- Good knowledge of salon hygiene, tool sanitisation and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of customer service and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for hairdressing, grooming and staying updated with current trends.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and late trading hours where required.

Qualification Requirement

A Certificate III in Hairdressing, Certificate IV in Hairdressing or Barbering, or an equivalent relevant qualification is required.

Salary: $80,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation

Hours: Minimum 38 hours per week
