Job Title:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide support to a client living in Southern River. The client has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Type 2 Diabetes and is non-verbal.
The successful candidate will provide respectful, person-centred support to assist the client in maintaining independence, accessing the community, and managing daily personal care needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting community access activities and encouraging participation in meaningful outings
- Providing personal care assistance in a respectful and dignified manner
- Supporting the client’s individual needs and routines
- Promoting safety, wellbeing, and independence
About You:
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability is highly desirable
- Comfortable providing personal care support
- Patient, reliable, and compassionate with a person-centred approach
- Strong communication skills and ability to support a non-verbal client
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant compliance requirements are preferred
Additional Preference:
The client has expressed a preference for a male support worker from an African background to support cultural compatibility and rapport.

Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Full Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Disability Support or related field
