About the role Are you an experienced and passionate claims officer who is all about delivering exceptional customer service and ready to play a pivotal role in claims management? As a Claims Officer at PassportCard, you’ll work in a dynamic team, handling a range of responsibilities—from claims administration and end-to-end claims management to process improvement and reporting.

The key responsibilities include:

· Promote the PassportCard values by providing an exceptional claims experience

· Handle claims ensuring prompt and fair assessment and adherence to the terms and conditions of the PDS





· Ensure compliance with internal claims guidelines as well as relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

· Communicate and negotiate with key stakeholders on all matters relating to claim management

· Ensure claims are settled properly by correctly interpreting the policy, identifying recovery opportunities, and applying limits and deductibles of all claims.

· Work collaboratively within the claims team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Your experience

· Solid experience assessing insurance claims, preferably in Travel

· 2-3 years experience in customer facing roles

· Good technical knowledge and ability to assess travel claims on own initiative

· Experience providing outstanding customer service and stakeholder management

· Excellent customer service skills and ability to achieve service targets

· Intuitive/Investigative skills and a sound understanding of the tools available to investigate claims

· Demonstrated decision making, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

· A proactive, positive and patient approach

· Ethical and principled

· A high energy and collaborative approach that adds to our customer centric culture

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
