THE POSITION

The Quality team require an additional Analytical Chemistry Technician. As an Analytical Chemistry Technician, you will perform analysis and stability batches to support the development of current and current products at Parnell.

Having experience as a process Analytical Chemistry Technician will add value to the team to ensure each product follows correct GMP and regulatory guidelines.

This role will report to the Quality Control Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Participate as Formulation Subject Matter Expert (SME) in cross-department projects for Recent Product Introduction (NPI), Innovations and Technical Transfers (TT), including those from Contract Manufacturing Operations (CMO)
- Liaise with internal stake holders throughout entire project
- Perform literature reviews to support new business projects
- Perform lab scale and scale up formulations for new products
- Assist in preparation of new product Process Flows, Critical Control Point Analysis, Formulation development studies
- Prepare and report on development studies

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- B.Sc. in Chemistry or a related discipline
- Three years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Strong working knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality systems within the pharmaceutical or veterinary pharmaceutical industry.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal. Proactive attitude
- Exceptionally strong writing skills relevant to quality documents and reports
- Be able to work autonomously and as a team
- The ability to communicate effectively with personnel from all levels
- Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues while making timely and accurate decision

$80,000 – $100,000 + Superannuation
