Experienced Language Tutor Required

We are seeking a well experienced Language Tutor who has the following attributes. You must

also be a team player, have a positive attitude, and be responsible. You must be willing to

work in a professional teaching environment.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 (plus superannuation)

The Roles

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

 Planning and delivering language lessons for individual students and small groups

 Preparing and presenting teaching materials to develop students' language skills

 Teaching speaking, listening, reading, and writing through practical and theoretical

instruction

 Assessing students' progress and providing constructive feedback and encouragement

 Preparing students for language proficiency tests, examinations, or practical

assessments

 Revising lesson plans and teaching materials to meet students' learning needs

 Keeping up to date with developments in language teaching methodologies and

educational resources

The position Requires

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success within a similar role or

teaching setting.

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Languages, Linguistics, or a





related field (or equivalent experience)

 Demonstrated experience in language tutoring or teaching

 Strong knowledge of language teaching methods and curriculum planning

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Ability to prepare engaging lesson plans and learning materials

 Strong organisational and time management skills

 Reliable and professional team player

 Ability to work independently and adapt teaching methods to students' individual

learning needs

 Paramount attention to detail
