About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive System Administrator to support and enhance our IT infrastructure while contributing to key technology projects. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Delivery Lead, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Maintain, monitor, and support IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Project Delivery: Plan and collaborate on infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Escalation Support: Act as a technical escalation point (level 3) for Helpdesk issues, ensuring timely resolution
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology (or related field), and 5+ years’ experience in system administration.
- Strong experience managing core infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V), Windows Server and/or Linux environments
- Experience with cloud hosting
- Experience with modern corporate applications such as Microsoft Intune (or similar MDM) and Exchange Online
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP and enterprise network
- A proactive and reliable team player with strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused approach,
and the ability to manage priorities and adapt to new technologies
