Our client who specialises in asbestos removal, demolition and soil remediation across industrial, commercial and residential sectors is seeking non-friable class b asestos removalists for their project in Wallsend.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely remove and dispose of non-friable (Class B) asbestos-containing materials in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
- Set up and dismantle asbestos removal work areas, including exclusion zones and signage.
- Wear and maintain the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE).
- Follow Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), asbestos removal control plans and workplace procedures.
- Conduct decontamination procedures for personnel, equipment and work areas.
- Complete site documentation, including daily records and asbestos removal paperwork.




- Assist with general demolition and labouring duties where required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and environmental regulations.

About You

- Current Class B (Non-Friable) Asbestos Removal Licence or recognised competency.
- Previous experience in non-friable asbestos removal.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Strong understanding of asbestos removal legislation and safe work practices.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred).

Highly Regarded

- Asbestos Supervisor Licence.
- Working at Heights ticket.
- Confined Space ticket.
- EWP, forklift or other construction-related licences.
- Demolition or civil construction experience.
