About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and proactive Support Worker to assist a male participant based in Buxton with daily living and community access. This role focuses on promoting independence, building confidence, and supporting meaningful engagement in everyday life.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support both in the home and out in the community. You will play a key role in encouraging independence while ensuring client feels supported, safe, and empowered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing transport to and from appointments and community outings
- Supporting participation in social and recreational activities
- Assisting with maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the home setting




- Encouraging and guiding daily living skills, including household tasks
- Motivating and participating in exercise and healthy lifestyle activities
- Supporting development of social awareness and appropriate social cues
- Assisting with meals, eating routines, and maintaining a balanced diet

About You:

- Patient, empathetic, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to encourage independence while providing appropriate support
- Experience in disability support
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle also willing to travel
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
