The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our agile team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality dishes and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and plan menus, forecast ingredient requirements, and manage food and labour
costs.
· Ensure consistent quality in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
· Liaise with management, dietitians, kitchen staff, and service teams regarding food
preparation and operational requirements.
· Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide guidance and training to kitchen staff.
· Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes in line with established recipes and quality
standards.
· Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation practices.




· Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training kitchen staff as required.
· Store, preserve, and freeze food items appropriately to maintain quality and minimise waste.
· Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
· AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.
· Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations.
· Excellent leadership, teamwork, and time management skills.
· Creative flair and a genuine passion for cooking.
