We are currently seeking an experienced MC Drivers for positions based in Pemulwuy, NSW.
Shifts available:
- 4:00AM commencement time (Local Driver)
- 12:00PM commencement time (Yard Driver)
What you'll be doing:
- Operate MC-Class vehicles and B-Doubles to transport frozen products safely and efficiently to distribution centres, supermarkets, and customers
- Load, unload, and secure frozen goods in accordance with company and safety procedures
- Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any faults or maintenance issues
- Complete delivery paperwork, logbooks, and electronic records accurately and on time
- Ensure deliveries are completed within scheduled timeframes while following fatigue management regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of trucks and refrigerated trailers, and maintain cold chain compliance by monitoring trailer temperatures throughout deliveries
- Assist with route planning and ensure efficient delivery runs across metro and regional areas
- Safely move and position trailers between loading docks and designated unloading areas
- Coupling and preparing B-Double combinations for linehaul operations in accordance with company and transport regulations
What we're looking for:
- A current MC driver's licence and prior experience operating MC-Class vehicles
- A valid forklift licence with previous experience across both CB and HR is highly regarded, however not essential
- Clean Driving Record (within the last 2+ years) a copy of your RMS Report will be requested
- Solid attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to changing requirements
