About the Role:
Join Pastuso — Melbourne's celebrated Peruvian restaurant in the heart of the CBD — as a Full-Time Bartender. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, South American flavours and award-winning cocktail program, Pastuso offers the opportunity to work with premium spirits, fresh ingredients and a passionate front-of-house team.
Reporting to a Bar Supervisor, you'll receive dedicated monthly appraisals, genuine professional support and ongoing opportunities to develop your skills while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a quick-paced, premium venue.
In the Bartender role, your day-to-day will involve:
Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, spirits, wine and beverages with consistency and efficiency
Deliver exceptional guest service while creating memorable bar experiences
Drive beverage sales through confident recommendations and strong product knowledge
Maintain premium presentation, cleanliness and organisation of the bar
Work closely with the floor, kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service
Handle guest feedback professionally while contributing to a positive team culture
Our successful candidate will have:
1–2 years' bartending experience in a premium, high-volume venue
Passion for cocktails, spirits, wine and hospitality
Robust communication skills and the ability to build rapport with guests
Valid working rights in Australia
Team-first mindset with a positive, professional attitude
